Temple of Saint Titus, Heraklion
You will find it in the center of the city of Heraklion, in front of a small beautiful square. The temple is dedicated to Saint Titus, the first bishop of Crete who used to be student of Apostle Paul. The temple was destroyed twice in the past, by an earthquake and by a fire but it was rebuilt from the beginning in 1872.
Θα τον βρείτε στο κέντρο της πόλης του Ηρακλείου. Μπροστά του ακριβώς εκτείνεται μια μικρή όμορφη πλατεία. Ο ναός είναι αφιερωμένος στον Άγιο Τίτο, τον πρώτο επίσκοπο Κρήτης και μαθητή του Απόστολου Παύλου. Ο ναός έχει καταστραφεί δυο φορές κατά το παρελθόν, από σεισμό και από πυρκαγιά και ξανακτίστηκε από την αρχή το 1872.
